Create
your own Flash vocabulary games on line
In response to a number of requests we have
now provided a way of producing your own versions of the vocabulary
games. These are based on the Macromedia Flash
5 program, but do retain much of the look and feel of the original
games. As always this is a free resource for schools and other educational
users

The
traffic generated by this new feature has meant that we have had to

response than of late. The new URL is

N.B. This will eventually become a free standing annex which will
house all of our in-house produced language resources
Local Past'
Archive.
As part of our links with the local community, Alcester Grammar School is pleased
to able to produce and host the on-line publications of the 'Alcester
and District Local History Society'
The resource is developing well and,
at present, contains some 300 or so articles indexed by location and topic.
Eventually over 2000 articles, maps, images etc.
on all aspects of our local history will be available on line. Ranging from short
articles from the 'Local Past ' quarterly journal to longer in-depth studies of local
places and events.
N.B. This archive has been designed as a free
standing annex to the main school site and it's 'look and feel' is intended to reflect
those of the original paper publications

Real Audio German Multiple Choice Quiz.
The experimental quiz which we put up some years ago (1998) has now been removed. Whilst
successful, we did have a number of problems when traffic on the site was high. I am
continuing to look at this problem to try to find a simple solution.
On-line AS Information
Technology Course.
Unfortunately this has been removed from the site for a total re-vamp. Over the past
couple of years many of the external links have become outdated and it was felt that it
would be easier to start from scratch. Many thanks to those who sent e-mails about this
resource. Please note that we have a major on-line links resource for AS IT here
